Welcome to our website.  We have designed this website to help people understand the Dexter breed. Our goal is for the website to be easy to use, informative & a place to show some great photos of beautiful Dexter cattle. When we first looked into how best to use our 12 acre property in the Yarra Valley, we hit the google machine pretty hard & after many late nights we decided on Dexter cattle.  It was a great decision & now we really enjoy sharing our experience with others.   Here at Lusatia Park Dexter Stud we embrace the Dexter cattle breed completely.  The breed has 3 colors, being red, dun (a brown color) & black. Dexters also have long & short-legged varieties.  Dexters are a dual-purpose breed, able to provide milk for the calf & house as well as excellent quality beef. Dexters are the smallest naturally occurring cattle breed & have not been miniaturized.
